Gen 8 Update | SWSH Expansion Pass Ramble! (Patreon)

As per my last post, I said I would be on vacation for about a week! That vacation has now passed, but boy am I tired from it, lol. Anyway, something very unexpected happened during this trip. A Pokemon Direct was announced!

Naturally, I just thought this would be about Pokemon Sleep and Home. I was wrong.... At least, partially. Not only is Pokemon Home launching in February, but coming this summer, and this fall, we're getting two expansion passes for Gen 8!

I'm actually REALLY excited about it. However, these expansions are bringing in new forms and pokemon with it. This adds about 18(?) new species onto our roster for Gen 8's update. 

Now, obviously, there's no way I'm waiting for this fall to release v13. So what is Rejuv doing in regards to this?

Nothing like this has ever happened before. Truth be told, I'm still sorta shook. Mostly cause this not only adds on more work for this cycle, but for post game's cycle as well. I love legendaries, but now that I actually have to distribute so many of them... I cri. We've been talking about releasing a 13.5 some time down the way, but I'm going to be real, that's something I am really not looking forward to doing. Once v13 is done, I really, really, REALLY, just wanna put all my focus onto the cursed version that is v14.

The rumored, the horrifying, the overly hyped(?) version. I don't want to delay it any longer. Everything I've worked for has been building to this moment. Buuuuuuuuuut I'll probably cave and release a 13.5.

It all depends on what exactly the expansion pass entails. Tbh, I'm not expecting there to be new actual pokemon. (As in, regular mons that aren't legendaries.) I'm expecting more galarian forms and all that noise. If that's the case, I'm willing to push it back in favor of V14, but if there's a new small roster of Pokemon.... Just kill me now. It's not that I'd say no to new Pokemon, but the timing hurts!

We're not even anyway close to finishing the mons we have currently, so lol....

I realize this wasn't much of an update, but while I was gone there really wasn't much progress that's worth talking about. I just needed a place to throw out all of my thoughts and I'd might as well just do that here.

even tho i screamed about this I still bought the expansion pass and im silently screaming until summer. I wanna play it now game freak.
