Hello, friends. I hope you read this entire post. It's about the future of the page, and I would very much appreciate your comments.

I am starting to feel burnt out on making fakes. But don't worry.

When I started my Twitter account, my first few posts were simple head-swap fakes because it was easier to do.

But I saw many talented fakers already do what I do, but better. So I experimented with adding superhero elements like costumes/easter eggs/dialogues to stand out. It did better than my usual fakes. Eventually, I tried making a short comic of fictional superheroes because I didn't see anyone else doing it. And I'm happy they were well received.

But making short comics and fictional character pinups is much harder than normal face swaps. I have to manually cut out the original base body, create a customized background to match their character, add some costume elements, match the colors and lighting, and then write some dialogue that reflects their characters. But even though it was difficult to create them, I enjoyed making them much more than the normal face-swap fakes.

As I have said months ago, I had covid. The doctor said I’m okay. I am recovering and no longer experience the symptoms, but I have noticed that I am getting tired much more easily now and my energy drains faster. It now takes more effort to do both face swaps and complex compositions. This made me realize that I should put my energy into what I actually enjoy doing.

I want to get back into making more of these customized superhero fakes but I had duties to create the requests of my Platinum members. But what usually ends up is I take too much time fulfilling individual platinum requests and I don’t get to make fakes I want to do by the time the month ends.

Because of this, I dissolved the Platinum tier. Thank you for your support, but I’m afraid I can’t keep up with your requests. I also feel that I am leaving out the voices of my other patrons. I would make polls but and end up not committing because I have to rush requests of Platinum members. I'm sorry. Before I would work my time around the different requests of my Platinum members instead of having a standard/regular schedule.

But now that the Platinum tier is gone, I can now work on a schedule that will listens to the requests all patrons.

Starting next month, I propose the following release schedule:

Week 1: Comment your character suggestions.
   Week 2: Voting
   Week 3-4: Content delivery

As for the volume of content, how does 2 character pinups and 2 faceswaps a month sound? I was thinking that the 2 most voted of the month will be given special treatment and will have the complex designs and format sizes (like landscape wallpaper), and the runner-ups will be simple fakes. Please tell me if this is an ok volume. I know 4 fakes may seem less but the complex ones really take a lot of time to make.

I hope you understand my decision going forward. If not, feel free to comment with your suggestions down below, and maybe we can settle on a compromise. I appreciate those who keep on commenting and sending me messages. I want to hear your thoughts. Liking also helps.

This page has always been about fantasizing about superheroes. And I want to keep it that way. Because of this, I want to rename my page to better reflect what it is. Moving forward, the page will now be called Heroes Uncovered.

Thanks.

~Jordan

P.S. There will still be artworks this month. They are:

Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver
Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker
and two normal faceswaps I haven't started yet. Comment who you want them to be!
