Since its a completely different style than nixeu´s previous works it can be polarizing big within the "followers". This particular style here i think you either hate or love it. Fact is ... nixeu is i think still finding an own style or way and this development and certain freedom is important for an artist. (I do still love the original style and just want to see more of both :-) )

There is a big difference between a bad work and a work - style you don't like. You can see weird certain styles and that’s fine, personal tastes are personal. I’m a person who enjoys experimenting and creating new things, I like to learn and always be fresh. I hate doing the same thing all the time, because for me there can't be just one way of expressing myself. I’m sure that I will do many things that you don’t like and others that maybe ... , staying is your decision, but I can’t stop being who I am. This is not a fail, just other vision, a vision you don’t like and it’s ok. What I am trying to say is that you [ all ] don't have to stay here if you don't like my work-styles, maybe you think it's better to invest in another kind of artist and it's completely acceptable.

Expressing your own opinion here is i think totaly reasonable - you did show that to you its important to let Nixeu know about how you personaly feel about it because Nixeu is important to you. Though using the word "failed" is i think unfair. But please dont feel attacked or offended by other (including me) ... thats not at all what i want. I do respect you and specialy your last message because you are right about that its no reason to leave :-)

I have a real problem with this picture! 1. I don't understand how this is supposed to be an improvement in your work. I see that as a step backwards (formulated very diplomatically). 2. What do I find good and what do I find bad? Good: I like the idea behind it and the person. Unfortunately that was the end of the good. Bad: Persistent is wrong e.g. armchair, proportions are wrong and the person has no bones (see posture of leg). You are welcome to contradict me. Absolutely every WIP you post here is more mature than this supposedly finished and better picture. After you wrote very openly with us sponsors (meanwhile deleted), I openly reflect my thoughts when I saw this picture for the first time: This is how the good students drew in the drawing class (compulsory school around 13-15 years old) . What should be better about it now than what you've done up to now? 3. I also don't see how other sponsors can praise this picture. What evaluation standard is applied here? I can still understand Hades & Persephone, but there are so many technical errors in this picture that I refuse to believe that you drew it ... 4. I'm not a yes-man. I can rate images from different points of view. So far I've found every picture of good. In my opinion, this is the first really bad picture.

Oh I haven't seen this comment haha, sorry. If you are interested in knowing about this drawing - style, I can explain the process to you. The proportions in this style are very stylized - elongated. With a flat shading, the feeling of collage is created, without depth, which makes it difficult to locate and generates confusion. It's a 'grotesque' style that aims to convey mixed emotions. It's something that you either like a lot or you hate, which is why it generates rejection or admiration in different people. With realistic proportions and a normal shading with the same base of this drawing, you would see it as normal. You see deformity because I have created that illusion with the elements that compose it.
