A brief note (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

I am very thankful you enjoyed March's theme (Splatoon: Fresh Mix!), and I greatly enjoyed making it as well! I was about to get onto next month's theme pretty soon but...

A few of you might know already, but I'm currently sick with COVID.

I didn't want to tell earlier as it would have dulled the mood of the lovely stuff I was posting lately, so I wanted to make it separate and wait a day or two.

I was actually sick since last Friday or Saturday (thereby making me infectious since last Wednesday). I suppose I can say this is my first official time getting it, I could say I was rather anxious, especially given my current living arrangement.

Rest assured, the symptoms so far are mild ones, I've somewhat felt a little better, well enough to make the recent post, and even write this without needing to sleep or getting a terrible fever or chills; or a throbbing headache... I still am cautious for any severe changes.

... This has been a run of bad luck hasn't it? First shingles and now this. (As now I am more aware of my own unique reactions to viruses, and cold-like symptoms aside, it feels very familiar)

That said, depending on the state of my recovery, next month's theme may be delayed, and my workload will become rather slow. I apologise for the mess, but yeah. Bleurgh, is my current state of feeling, and pushing myself, regardless of my financial situation, will only make things worse.
