Meeting Notes | 15th Oct (Patreon)

Written up the notes I took from our Meeting today - here's a general guide to what was bought up - any questions or things i've forgotten, message me on Discord - thanks!



Community Farms/Spawn Bases - All farms (with a large amount of lag or animals) must be taken down from Spawn Town Bases. The Houses you all build in the Town are not to be used for farms since this contributes to lag massively. Please take anything like this down in your bases - thank you!

The farms that are currently situated in front of the commercial district will also be moved to the newly made Farming District - so if you need any of those materials, please visit that (signposted in the Nether).

Please ALSO remove any huge gathering of entities you have (this includes item frames - as i've seen lots of people have more than they're actually using) - thanks!

Border - The World Border will be moved to 10,000 blocks diameter once we get 1.11 Spigot working on the server. The current border is at 7,000.

Nether - There were only 2 main Nether Hub designs made on the creative server that I was told about during the meeting, one of each of the Top (SoleSupremeBeing) & Bottom (Bobgeorgethe3rd) Hubs. I have contacted the creators of each design and will work towards getting those done over the coming months. Please remember - the TOP HUB is for Residential Paths & the BOTTOM HUB is for Community & Other Paths. Both Hubs will have a North, South, East & West MAIN Tunnel - please connect your path to the nearest of those - thank you!

Town Hall - This Design on the Creative Server is nearly complete - so anyone with time to spare that would like to help out, that would be appreciated. Please use the Creative Server build as reference and copy onto the main world. (Contact Stratuscraft, the creator of Town Hall if you have any questions).

Surrounding Town Hall will be the Community Project Area, with museum & UHC monument on the list. Geckor will be taking charge of this area - so contact her with inquires :)

Other Topics - As a heads up to any & all members of the Server I mentioned that an average world length for Symmetria is 1 year - This is so that it doesn't come as a surprise as anyone when we get there & so people have a time frame to work towards.

If we get to that 1 year mark & the server is still very much busy/a working progress for most we will carry on till it isn't.

Also brought up was the Forum - I will let this wither away and be removed at a future point soon. We will use Discord 100% from then on.

Please also note that FREE FARMS that are signposted as PUBLIC are to be used for with respect - NO taking all of the things from it OR selling it on at a high price.
