Having a written contract is a symbol of dedication to the act of chastity from both parties and also functions as a reminder of the agreed rules.

"This contract has been drawn up to define the terms and conditions of the slave’s lockup in chastity by the Keyholder. The slave will grant his Keyholder complete control over his cock/balls and sexual release. Under the terms of the Chastity Contract, the slave will be offering his chastity key to the Keyholder under his own free will and trusting her to manage his sexual affairs".
