I completely disagree with Mackenzie about Deku being selfish this episode. Selfish would be him getting pissed and trying to get revenge on the villains for hurting his friends and kidnapping Bakugo by attacking them blindly. I thought this was a huge growth moment for Deku specifically because he found a way to use his power without fighting. His number one concern was Bakugo. All Might couldn't fight at his best because Bakugo was there. Did they risk their lives? Sure, but that's what being a hero is. This was completely different than Stain. I wouldn't count Muscular as him doing anything wrong. Running wasn't an option. Sure they could have been taken hostage, but Bakugo was already a hostage. So either way All Might can't fight at his best. I saw this as a completely selfless moment. He was told that he'd get in real trouble if he used his quirk against a villain again. He has every reason to think that doing this will result in him losing his dream of becoming a hero and maybe even his life, but he does it anyway.
