Johnny 5 is still alive! <3 To me, this episode is less about the actual power of the book, and more about the tunnel vision that generosity can bring. Sure, the main lesson is that you should speak truth to your friends when you see them doing something wrong. But hopefully, the other main lesson is, always think about what you are doing and whether your generosity to help your friends translates into something that actually helps them. And the best way to do that is simply, ask them how you can help before jumping in. Just that small act alone will demonstrate how much you care about your friends, even if they end up not needing your help.
