"The Unicorn and the Wasp" is such a wonderfully fun episode. The use of Agatha Christie's real-life disappearance in 1926 is really clever, although it actually happened in December and they wanted the story to be set at the height of summer, hence the Doctor never mentioning the actual date when he shows the newspaper to Donna at the start. For the Christie fan, there are nearly two dozen of her book titles with which Gareth Roberts and Russell T Davies amused themselves by inserting into the dialogue. They are: Appointment with Death, The Body in the Library, Cards on the Table, Cat Among the Pigeons, Crooked House, Dead Man's Folly, Death Comes as the End, Endless Night, The Moving Finger, The Murder at the Vicarage (at the end, the Doctor says "Murder at the vicar's rage" but admits it "needs a bit of work"...), Murder is Easy (though that was in a deleted scene, cut from the final edit), Murder on the Orient Express, N or M?, Nemesis, The Secret Adversary, Sparkling Cyanide, Taken at the Flood, They Do It With Mirrors, and Why Didn't They Ask Evans? (in the teaser, the Professor's line is "Why didn't they ask... heavens!" as he sees the wasp appear). There's also the visual references to The Murder of Roger Ackroyd and Death in the Clouds (the paperback cover the Doctor shows Donna at the end is real -- it's the image which gave the writers the initial idea for the giant wasp in this episode). And one final Christie title, of course -- The Man in the Brown Suit... :-)
