We have our third spotting (and first mention by the Fans) of Hayseed Turnip Truck! He greeted Rarity in Canterlot in the season 2 episode (Sweet and Elite) where she was torn between Twilight's birthday party and her high-class friends. He was also a background pony in Sleepless in Ponyville (only two episodes back!) in the very first shot--bottom right of the screen after the pan, blink and you'll miss it. The blue-haired, fiddle-playing mare was Fiddly Twang (aka Fiddly Faddle), who shares Octavia's design. She was first seen as a background pony in Luna Eclipsed dressed as a scarecrow for Nightmare Night, also playing a fiddle in her bluegrass band.
