I really liked Lady Christina's character. She would have made a great companion, but then that was the point. She seemed to be a lot like the Doctor, and that could have been a bad thing if they were traveling together. No one to balance the other out - they would have both egged the other on.

I love David Tenant. (I mean, of course.) But people say that "the first Doctor you watch is *your* Doctor," so despite my profound admiration for David Tenant I cannot wait for Paula to encounter *my* Doctor, Matt Smith. I hope he doesn't disappoint. Love and friendship to you both.

It didn't work that way for me. My first Doctor was David Tennant, but *my* Doctor is Matt Smith. Well, technically the first Doctor I ever watched was probably Tom Baker; but I was so young that Doctor Who wasn't something I could really get into. Back then, it was just something my dad liked.
