has anyone had success printing this? i get to like halfway or more up the handle, and then it falls off the build plate, tried twice, second time i slowed it down a bunch, but it still happened? any ideas?

zou3d

Hey! You can use "Brim" to improve the contact area with the printing plate

Anonymous

Rotate it to line up with the Y Axis and use brim or raft

Anonymous

I got it to print. I had to increase my minimal layer time to 8 seconds. I was laying one hot layer on top of another causing distortion to the print surface, potentially knocking the print off of the build plate about half way up.

IF your having troubles with this print slow your perimeters speed down the External perimeter speed in particular and use a raft for more stability , it should print great.

TMad_3D

Just printed it 200% and printed slow and steady.
