The joker comic (Patreon)

I have had several people comment and also leave due to the fact that I have not revived the joker comic as I had mentioned previously.

Since this keeps popping up I need to address why this is.

Some time back as I was gearing up I submitted some WIP images to another artist on twitter, whom I respect, for review.

He fervently reminded me that DC and other properties of the like (paramount/Star Trek) are pretty strict when it comes to copyright infringement - even with fan fiction.

Just as this was being told to me another artist on twitter, Fausto - who had a long running comic featuring the “bat boys” received a cease and desist letter from DC under the threat of legal action to stop using their DC properties in his sellable works.

As a SMALLLLL production base, and this being my livelyhood full time now - I cannot even tempt the risk at attracting the attention of big properties like these.

It has the potential to ruin me.

So it was with this information that months ago - I polled everyone and decided to move on from any further production of the DC property.

I apologize for the lack of transparency on this issue. I had deemed it to complicated to dig into and decided to just keep moving forward.

With that said - my big focus will be on that of stories from the larger MG/TF community as well as custom ones written for me by other authors.

I hope this makes sense and I ask for your understanding in the issue
