This is a little bit of info concerning how the process of putting together animation works for me.

Due to the complex geometry of the characters, having more than one in a scene can bog down the render time immensely.

To bypass this, it is necessary to run several "passes" of each part of the scene.

Background Pass

Midground Pass (if necessary) and a

Foreground Pass

In the last animation - Macho - All of the scenes were rendered character alone, and then the background, and then composited later in post.

The New Underwear animation will be no different.

The video above shows this process in as concise a way as I can think of. Each pass can take anywhere between 2-6 hours, depending on the complexity and length of the scene.

If they were all done at once on one pass - this would cause the computer to slow down, take forever or even freeze.

I just wanted to post this so you all can 1. see an update, and also - 2. Understand what all goes into each shot of an animation, besides facial animation and any other posing that might have to happen

I'll be continuing to work away on this and Hopefully post more edits in the coming week!

Stay tuned

Pete
