Garadius is fairly new to the United Federation of Planets (Diplomacy missions were undertaken by the USS 1701 Enterprise D) and needs assistance in a coming of age ritual for one of the royal family's sons.

According to Garadian custom the males of the species must complete their coming of age ritual secluded on the neighboring moon (Xibon ii) However, due to a recent economic crisis on the planet - they are unable to supply the needed dilithium for their ships.

The U.S.S. Odyssey has been dispatched to lend aid to the Garadian's, in this time of need, and take their royal heir to complete his Puberty ritual...
