Hey guys, here's an updated version of the beta.
I fixed about 77 bugs, so it should be a lot more stable now, and some features have been polished a bit.

If you were playing on Random Equips mode, you should probably start again, as that mode had some serious issues with the equip shop, that may effect your saved game forever.

See the previous post for much more info about the beta.

Download the installation folder below (it's a zip file), unzip it, and run Epic Battle Fantasy 5.exe, or Epic Battle Fantasy 5.swf

So, found a graphical glitch in fullscreen (I'm using a 4K monitor if it matters). Got into a fight in the volcano of the fire/ice deluxe dungeon, and the background graphics were partly broken. Exiting fullscreen fixes it, but reentering fullscreen rebreaks it. http://tgqc.zapto.org/images/EBF4_VolcanoBroken.png I think the game doesn't like 4K fullscreen in general though because the first time I tried to play it in fullscreen, the game crapped out on starting a new game (the screen went all white with a gray circled exclamation mark icon in the center). I'm running it via the .exe of course. I got past this by going windowed getting into the game. Not sure if it's the cutscene that does it or not, but it crashed on selecting the new custom game option as well. EDIT: Further testing shows the graphics also break in battles in No Man's Land, fighting the first respawnable boulder enemy you see at very least. This time, however, entering and exiting fullscreen fixed it indefinitely. For the record, I have a quite high end gaming rig. GTX 1080 graphics, I7-8700k, 16GB RAM. Though amusingly that doesn't stop the framerate from dropping in fullscreen at 4K. Go figure, Flash has never been resource efficient and has serious scaling issues, lol.

Yup, the game definitely doesn't support 4k. You'll have to avoid using the "Best Fit" fullscreen mode.
