So I am all setup with the new GPU, there were some issues with the temps buts its all sorted now with the purchase of some good case fans :). The GPU is fast and I can use it in tandem with my old card as well.

I am seeing about close to 50% boost in render times so what used to take me a good 2-3 hours takes about an hour and a half tops . So its a big boost in speed. I will be animating a few of my own creations too because of this and try get an animation a week at least. Mostly I will try to animate stuff that is part of the small ongoing series.

The Above animation is a quickie I made to benchmark the GPU for my own purposes . Its still quite a bit clunky but I did not waste too much time on it, took me a 30 mins to Animate and 2 hrs to render ( which is really fast). Will be making simple stuff so I get used to the animation controls in Daz
