Speed is one of the things , Say an image like this takes me a good 6 hrs to render it would take me 2-3 hrs with some of the newer stuff. In those 6 hrs I cant do anything other than wait. There are some benefits to detail as well newer technology and more memory always helps. Its mostly with the bigger images with lots of characters that I face such an issue. Cheers

You are absolutely right. This image loosely is based of Agnes Art and a homage to her work. Her art contains bald women quite a bit, But I try to mix it about when I can.
