Blue (and Kirin) Doodles (Patreon)

I've been thinking lately that I want to give my jackalope Blue a little redesign so I figured I'd play around with some doodles. I simplified his antlers a bit as I've never been satisfied with the original design (which are supposed to look like a cross between deer and antelope antlers). I made his hair a little longer (though I'm not sure if I'll stick with that). I made him significantly shorter (inspired by Chibita, of course!) and removed his fur tufts (chest and feet) but again, might not be something I stick with. 

I decided to play around with his clothes a little. I want his clothing to appear old fashioned (though I don't know what time period he lives in) and possibly be ill-fitting since he's been on his own since he was a kid so maybe he still wears some of his old clothes. For the record, the underwear I put on him is just for modesty, in reality I doubt Blue wears underwear at all...

I threw Kirin in here too just so I could get a feel for their height difference. I still need to play around with Kirin. I mostly like their design but I still need to fiddle around with it. I tried giving them a little belly too but I may not stick with that. And I either really need to practice with those legs or scrap the idea completely and just give them human legs because I can't seem to consistently draw them in a satisfactory way for the life of me...
