TIL grey foxes arn’t a “true fox” yet they’re truer than a true fox yo 

also they‘re “the only canid that can climb trees” 

and you might then ask, ”can’t red foxes also climb trees?” - yes and also other canids, so that’s not a fun-fact at all, more like lame non-fact.

BUT grey foxes do have “partially retractable claws” which is neat. 

Also you might ask, “Is it grey fox, or gray fox?” - yes
