It's the Abrams Hunter-Killer System Demo and Stuart Recce vs Panzer IIIM up this week on the Shorts front, that means it's time for another vote!  I've tried my hand at diversifying the topics and formats again (just shooting things is getting old surprisingly fast).

The Modern Monday candidates this time round are:

A second Shock Force 2 infantry firepower demo, this time with the Marines. I've tweaked the format a bit to make it less boring, adding some commentary and results and fast-forwarding through a boring chunk. Should be a bit more interesting.

And a straight up penetration test with an M60A1 trying to poke holes in a T-72A. I did originally pick these two for an Iran-Iraq representation- Iran using some M60A1s left over from the Shah's days and Iraq having some T-72s- but the T72 is probably not the correct model, so it's not quite accurate. As a bonus though, because it's Cold War we know what ammo is being fired so there's a nice little extra nugget of information there.

World War Wednesday is more left field.

First up- and the most fun- is Demo Charge vs Tiger in Battle for Normandy. This started off as a slightly more exciting 'can x blow up y' test, when I went to film the second round there was actually a really fun interaction between the TacAI elements so I focused in on that. So it's somewhat similar to the Marines shoot-at-everyone test above with some commentary. And I had to learn how to spell Nahverteidigungswaffe.

Second is another artillery test, this time in FInal Blitzkrieg, featuring a battery of M7 Priests dumping 105mm VT-fused HE shells onto an unfortunate platoon of German grenadiers in some foxholes. VT fuses are so expensive in QBs that I don't think I've ever actually used them before, so that was interesting to see. This one is a bit more of a refinement of the artillery demo type short- now we have a target and some endstate numbers.

As usual, you can vote for multiple options and don't forget to leave any suggestions in the comments down below. Again, the hardest part here is actually thinking up things to do, so have at it!

would it be possible for us to vote on a campaign for you to tackle next? would love to see more of these, since I got hooked on your channel from the Road to Montebourg campaign.

Probably not. I love it as an idea- I think the problem becomes stcking with a campaign if it turns out to be a dud. The Scottish Corridor, for example, was a hell of a slog, but I stuck with it because it was my own stupid idea to start it. If someone else had picked it, I think it would have been both a hell of a slog and an imposition, if that makes sense.
