i really like pip. he's universally one of the most hated side characters and they stopped including him in the show at some point because he was the prototype for what butters would eventually be. he was funny tho, and the accent makes me laugh.

I definitely don’t think this episode is a bad as most people. It’s not great by any means (to be fair, i don’t think the first GREAT episode happened until season 5)but it’s not terrible

I actually have soft spot for this episode, but I actually like this episode, I read Great Expectations, it was required reading in my school, and it's actually of the few required readings I still remember. I mean I read the book in 7th or 8th grade, There are a few other things that stick with me from school. I mean I'm 42 now. lol

As others have said, this is widely considered to be the worst episode. However, with season 5, you’re about to enter what most people consider the beginning of the golden age of South Park where they really hit their stride. It’s the stuff most of us have been eagerly waiting for! 🙂
