Paul, I agree with you 100% about this season. While it's not bad, and still kinda funny, shows do get old over time. I wouldn't say it's jumped the shark just yet but it's lining up the ramp. Some viewers like the latter seasons more, and good for them. I stopped after this season was done. Just me. Hope everything is getting better on the old homefront.

ok, got caught up with What We Do in the Shadows last night, last episode for the season comes out later this week, and man I can't wait for you to get to season 3 it's crazy.

The next 2 season are more serious for sure show more of archer with compassion and feelings … season 9 is absolutely hilarious and a belter

This season may not be as funny as past seasons, but I'm ok with that. The characters are established and their relationships with each other is pretty consistent at this point. I still enjoy the group dynamic, which is pretty much the same even though with less comedic material.

I don't remember the timing of it, but I think it was either this year or next season some of the people involved with the show started working on another show and it seemed like the quality on Archer fell off and hasn't fully recovered.

The crazy thing is, the ending is exactly what Archer said would happen, they both died in a bizarre murder/suicide.
