Hank mentions Grand Funk Railroad when Watch and Ward think they look just like Hank and Dean. Grand Funk Railroad is a Rock band that was at their peak in popularity in the 70's, and they're still around today. "We're an American Band" is one of their big hits. Possible connections: These things may or may not be connected. Make your own decisions here. 1. Col Gentleman says that Rodney (aka The Action Man) once killed a baby by putting a bullet in its head. 2. Doctor Venture once told Dean in episode 4x5 "The Revenge Society" that the Action Man would repeatedly wake him up in the middle of the night by putting a gun to his head and pulling the trigger saying "Not today, Rusty. Not today," after the click of the hammer. 3. Rodney claims he thought it was a werewolf. In the many deaths of Hank and Dean montage from episode 2x1 "Powerless in the Face of Death" we see the boys get pounced on by Dr. Venture in werewolf form. Col Gentleman said all he saw was a wee little baby with a silver bullet in its brain. There's also one further revelation in the final season but I'm not gonna list it. Again, draw you own conclusions. I don't want to lead anyone and be accused of dropping spoilers here, just stuff we've already seen so far. These may be unconnected and just coincidental. We have yet to find out.

A big Team Venture welcome to Red Death, the best character in late-season Venture Bros! Glad you enjoyed this one, looking forward to season 7 :)

First of all, like they said in the episode about Red Death, Clancy Brown is a national treasure. The Kurgan, Mr. Krabs and Red Death -- the man can do it all. Second of all, the next three episodes are television at its finest. The peakiest of Peak TV. In my humble opinion, of course.

I like your theory about the werewolf, but Rusty wouldn't have been a baby if Hank and Dean were already around to get killed by him in his werewolf form. It seems like there should be some connection between those three things, though. Good catch on connecting Col. Gentleman's asshole comments to the Hank and Dean death montage. On your other topic, I always have gotten GFR and BTO confused, even though I know they are separate bands and their names are nothing alike. Maybe its because their music is basically interchangeable.

So we finally got to see how Doc lost his first kidney. Back in episode 1x1 "Dia de los Dangerous!" we see Doc wake up in a Tijuana backalley in a bathtub filled with ice and a note taped to his chest telling him that his kidney has been removed and to seek immediate medical attention. Doc then says, "Not again!" and looks at a fresh scar on his right side and then an older scar on his left side. After the end of that episode you'd almost think that Doc kept the clones around as organ donors for himself, but I don't think that is the case.

I'll let somebody else remind Paul about what episode (or episodes) that he should rewatch before starting the season 7 three-parter, and also what movie he should watch (or rewatch) before 7x2, even though he's stated that he is terrified of the ocean. If he's afraid to watch the movie alone he could always watch another reactions person watching it. I recommend either Popcorn In Bed (Cassie), a lovely Canadian lass, or Duaffy m&s, a ♫ Fair Spanish Lady ♫. I am subscribed to both of their Patreon accounts, and they're also on YouTube.

a great episode, Henchman 21 giving knowledge. Let me just ask, did you watch The Venture Bros. commentary tracks? They are great and hilarious I don't often use commentary tracks but with some things you really want insight.

Next three episodes are going to be a fucking ride.

I'm not big on commentary tracks either. I've listened to a few of them. The fellas tend to drift off topic a lot. Maybe someday I will listen to more of them. While I do have the seasons on DVD I usually watch them on Amazon and they don't include the commentary tracks. There are a few other commentaries I like such as Futurama. The exec producer David X Cohan always keeps it interesting and they'll usually have one or more of the voice actors, or writers or animators on there and Dave always asks them interesting questions. Mel Brooks is also great and interesting on commentary tracks. It's amazing how much details he remembers from his movies, and he's really funny as well.
