wanted to ask - why is the quality so bad at bitchute but on youtube it's in 1080p ? :(

Everybody I've ever heard of was totally surprised by the big twist. They don't really provide any plain clues, and the little questions along the way ("why is Tahani in the Good Place when she's so condescending?") can be answered and brushed aside ("she did so much good with her charity work that it outweighs everything"). I developed a bit of uneasiness a couple of episodes from the end of season 1, when they focused on how much Motivation mattered (because Tahani's motivations on earth didn't seem to be good), but I told myself that they would address that issue eventually. I only started to guess it a minute before they told us, when Eleanor had her realization, before she said anything. So I think the writers have fooled everybody! For me, the miracle is that even now, with spoilers everywhere online, reactors manage to stay unspoiled. I'm grateful that that's true.

Yeah, nah, it is not just you. Most of us haven't figured it out. And my theory is because it is a comedy show, we expect some absurdities to happen, so anything that made it look like it was Bad Place was explained either by Eleanor being there, Michael stuffing up, or simply because for show to be 'funny'. But even the cast, aside from Bell and Danson didn't know it, so even they get surprised in the table read.

I'll chime in and say I, too, was fooled. I wouldn't say I was surprised, because I expect twists to happen in entertainment, but I did not see this twist coming. I guess the last thing that genuinely surprised me in a bit of entertainment (so to speak) was The Crying Game.
