The Special you will want to see next is called "All This and Garganua-2". It acts as the finale of season 5 and the premier of season 6. I'm not sure where you get your videos but it is available on the adult swim website (with adds, unfortunately). I'm sure it's available other places. There's also a short post episode clip that isn't always included with the episode that you would want to find after the special. It's on youtube as "The Venture Bros. Special Epilogue"

Liam Barnes

When watching the "All This and Gargantua 2" there is a separate epilogue that you might have to look up as well. For some reason it doesn't seem to show afterwards as part of the show. But it is important to watch it before starting the new season.

The sign for the retirement village (pensioner's home as they say in the UK) says "Waning Acres - Where the adventure ends". Some of the residents appear to be elderly superheros with one resembling Stan Lee. My brother had a hamster that died the same way as Entman did. Poor little fella! I have that exact same t-shirt that they left for 21. It was part of the Shirt-of-the-Week club shirt for this episode. It's all worn out now with a couple holes in it and it was a limited edition print. Oh, well. I wore it with pride! The dentist torture scene is from the movie 'Marathon Man' staring Dustin Hoffman. Note: If your dentist ever asks you, "Is it safe?", in a German accent RUN‼ The mansion that was seen at the end that The Monarch grew up in is based on an actual home in New Jersey. At the very end of the epilogue, when the camera pans upwards, if you look closely at the statue of Jonas, his hand pointing to the sky has SIX fingers, possibly an indication that there would be a season six.

Henchman Twenty1

They had to cut the epilogue for time but made it available on YouTube, but it's a must watch and is only 3:24 long.

That flashback that Col. Gentleman was dictating to Dean for his memoirs was awesome. Not only did it get Entmann back involved, but it also tied into the next scene where Action Man tells Hank "I've been trying to nail her for forty years," or whatever he says.

Jeff

I absolutely cannot believe that I never realized that Billy's mother Rose IS Triple Threat!!!

Will Fly

I love that, after all these years, The Monarch still doesn't know 21's real name.

DarkAshtar

I couldn't think of anything to add, so I'll just say "Go Team Venture" and hold my v to the sky lol

Henchman Twenty1

I loved how Dean finally tells Hank about them being clones and is able to come to terms with it due to Hank's positive response. But does Hank really understand that they are out of clones though? Also, the "Hench has killed Hench" chant is a reference to the film Battle for the Planet of the Apes (1973), in which Aldo is surrounded by his fellow apes chanting "Ape has killed Ape" after it is revealed that he murdered Caesar's young son Cornelius.

Hey Paul, help an American out, if'n ya would. I've always wanted to visit the motherland, and I think I'm starting to get the British dialect, and maybe I have the basic slang down. Oy! Bangas n mash Eat ya undies Beans on toast Fiddle da queen Bang ya mum Toss ya knickas Bob's ya uncle Fish n chips Roit den, innit? I understand these are very complex local (even regional) dialects within the English lexicon, but I hope maybe it's enough to ask where restrooms are and order food if I ever visit the country. What do ya think? Am I ready? Oh, and I think maybe "Twi ' 'ah" is English for Twitter?

As others have said there are TWO specials before season 6 - "All This and Gargantua-2", and "The Venture Bros. Special Epilogue"! The epilogue is short but VERY important, it sets up the entire situation of the last two seasons!

The Guy on the Couch

Honestly, can't wait you to watch the special. You should watch the original trailer for it before watching the special itself.

Henchman Twenty1

I'm kinda split on that. The trailer is really cool and well done and all but has many spoilers. I think I'd prefer a raw reaction from Paul without him knowing where it's going, then let him view the trailer afterwards. Love the use of that song though, 'Popsicle' by Cujo, aka Amon Tobin. I tracked it down and bought a digital copy.
