Great. Now that you finally got to this episode I can tell you what's going on because it is my favorite and I had as much trouble understanding what was happening as you did. Sorry forgot ENTER doesn't work. One day back in the late 70s Jonas Venture gets it in his head that he will take some kids from the local orphanage, "Honorary Gold Members of the Rusty Venture Fan Club", down to see his new nuclear fallout shelter. He just neglected to tell anyone that he happened to be in the middle of a fight with the supercomputer (M.U.T.H.E.R) he had made to run the damn thing. They were arguing over whether or not to use mind-altering drugs on the people in the Fallout Shelter. MUTHER decided to teach Jonas a lesson and dump their whole supply during that tour. Thus creating the last 15 minutes of The Shining that you saw. Jonas grabbed a gas mask, Kano, Col. Gentleman, and The Action Man and left everyone else. Including Dr. Entemann, the little fellow you met. They were down there for the rest of that time and begun to worship an old punch card educational program similar to the one that fills the boys' heads with info as they sleep so they don't go to school and resets their memories too once a new clone is inserted. This one was all about hygiene apparently. It's modeled after that Planet of the Apes movie where there's an underground society that worships an atomic bomb or that Locker civilization that follows a card from a Video store in MIB 2. They also got VH1 Classic down there too somehow. Thus the music references.

Kieth Flynt from the Prodigy was the guy, and Damn Jeff good work. you also might have noticed some people dressed like various musicians as well., like the Thriller outfit I'm sure there are others. But to make it VH1 Classic used to show music videos from the 80's and 90's you know after music video showing died out and was replaced with tacky reality shows.

I just want to say that the picture you chose for the thumbnail is one of my favorite drawings of hank. My brother and I have been sending that to each other at random for like twelve years.

Happy belated birthday! Maniac Mansion was awesome. Who did you play as?

Will Fly

At the end, when Rusty is riveting steal plates over the hole in the ground, you said that he's shutting them down there again. But the reality is that the rockets from the warhead incinerated them all.
