So, they actually did answer what Dr. GF said in this episode. It's just so vaguely dropped in that most don't pick up on it. She said that she had applied to the Guild for duo-arching status, which they were approved for at the end. It's a bit lackluster, as everyone was speculating something more usual like a pregnancy. Hope you don't mind me spelling it out, but otherwise your gonna be left wondering for no reason, like me and many others did watching it the first time. Otherwise a great reaction to a great episode. Looking forward to more!

To give you an example of how well written this show is, two things from this episode that are minor get brought up later. You do get to find out the story behind the giant coin, not so much the origin but what it was used for. Also they touch back on the story the Monarch was telling Dr. Girlfriend and Truckules. I was gonna point out they subtly tell you about What Dr. Mrs. The Monarch said to him, but Falcon beat me to it lol, in the commentary for the DVD they actually talk about it and how so many people missed that was what they meant by it, so don't feel bad you missed it a lot of people did.

I think the show's creators even acknowledged that this was a "Who shot Mr. Burns - Surprise, it was Maggie! Cough..." moment. They didn't want to go for the obvious choices. They never do. They've even stated that at times fan speculation has made them alter their plans, and not always in a way that the fans would like.
