The Alchemist is such a great character, he's voiced by Dana Snyder who is probably best known for playing Master Shake from Aqua Teen Hunger Force. The order of the Triad is always fun in this show. Also, yes it is a Red Dragon reference, it's such a good book, the movie was pretty good though they focused on Hannibal Lector a bit too much, compared to the book, but well Anthony Hopkins had already been such a star from Silence of the Lambs.

I don't know if you have ever seen the movie Cool Hand Luke with Paul Newman, but the scene where Doc starts washing the walking eye and gets all the villains aroused is based on a scene from that movie. Basically Newman is on a chain gang in the deep south (USA) back in the 1950's. He and the other inmates are digging a ditch along side a country road and a lovely, buxom young lass in a loose fitting dress comes out and starts washing the car with a bucket of water and a hose. She knows she is driving them wild and loves it. Search 'Cool Hand Luke car wash scene' on Youtube. Note: This is the same movie where the iconic line, "What we got here is failure to communicate" is from, which can also be heard at the start of the Guns and Roses song 'Civil War'.
