Quick Update (Patreon)

I know that with the magnitude of what is going on now that many people are making statements. Maybe it is a turning point, I don’t know. There’s a lot up in the air right now. I don’t want to say anything generic or pointless so I’ll skip to what I want to say.

George Floyd was murdered by the police. This is a racist country. Police around the country kneel in fake moments of solidarity and then blast you with tear gas. They don’t show remorse, don’t show any desire to change. They are enabled by legions of racist idiots, defenders of Tommy Bahama stores, and wimp ass  establishment husks like Pelosi. Fuck them. I heard so many horror stories told to me by kids from the south and west sides of Chicago when I used to work at a group home there. The police target black people. The country targets black people. I hope all this means that people are starting to listen. 

This is just a stupid podcast. I know. I want to thank everyone out there protesting. I tried for awhile to think of like, something ‘on message’ to do an episode on. I felt a lot of anger. I tried to think of ways to do an E1 that would harness some of that anger I feel at what is happening. It just feels so stupid to do E1 in the face of all this. It’s so unimportant. And to even have a patreon and shit – it feels laughable. To have anyone pay for any of this when that money should be used for something far more important right now, it seems ridiculous. I don’t want to do it. But at the very least, maybe E1 can raise some money for something that matters. Even if all we do is talk about stupid, pointless, goofy shit.
