Hi everyone,

Sorry about not updating earlier. A lot has happened, and things were uncertain.

The tests showed that Olive has stage 2 ovarian cancer, at minimum. Shortly after she found this out, she ran away. She left a note saying she “didn’t want to be a burden anymore,” and left without a way to contact her. For days, we had no idea what would happen to her, and we feared the worst. 

Finally, after days of searching, we were able to track her down. She was living alone in Malang. All of us begged her to come back, and eventually we convinced her to return to Bali, so that no matter what happens, she can at least be with her friends (and her cats). 

Right now, her situation is precarious. Once she’s here, her insurance will cover long-term treatment, but we still urgently need money for her immediate needs, such as home care and painkillers—and her hysterectomy, which NEEDS to happen before her next period in two weeks. Three of us have started working multiple jobs in order to help support her. Thank you so much for all the help you’ve given along the way, and any help you can still give.
