I appreciate the patience lads. I am still chugging through but working from the present-day backward to alleviate the issues for those looking to see newer content. About to start 2021 now. Since we passed the halfway mark and are almost out of the woods, here are the specials FF for now. We should be back to normal this upcoming week and will get new recordings. Is it weird that I was watching the regular version of this episode on BBC iPlayer on my TV, then afterwards I’m watching your unedited full reaction in my bed on the iPad? I think of the three 60th specials, this was probably my least favourite story wise. Although it did have our beloved Wilf which was joyful to see. Did I think everything was perfect again.... Of course not. I never over estimated any particular era. Flaws and personal preferences scattered throughout, much like anything. But for my tastes in delivering on the fundamentals. As bias as I will recognise I could be, after getting overly comfortable disliking so many things for so long. That it's hard to categorically reason definitively how much of a difference familiar faces and characters can have had. I had a blast watching in ways that I haven't 'fully' had in over three years.
