Back in the early to mid 2000s we didn't know how serialized tv stories worked that's why BSG and SGU have long season recaps before each episodes

Babylon 5, though not entirely serial, got away with only recaps for 2 parter episodes in the 1990s, and frankly, the episode recaps or 'previously on' are my least favorite part of the BSG and Stargate franchises..I get why they do it, but I find it tedious and repetitive, especially in SGU..It's more forgivable when at the beginning of a season though..
