Todd definitely deserved 1 more story after his clash with the Atlantis crew in The Lost Tribe. It's much more satisfying to have him and Sheppard part on a note of mutual respect given their history. Hard to say what will become of him of if he'll survive his "treatment", but this is a more fitting end to his journey than slinking away in his dart. While they might develop a countermeasure at some point, this virus could still be a potent weapon. They wouldn't really need to spread it to the entire crew, as it seems to have spread from them to the ship(perhaps through the stasis pods), and the reverse might apply as well. All they'd have to do is drop out of hyperspace, fire a missile that can infect the hive, and run. Sooner or later the crew will either get infected or die when the ship breaks up. Fairly solid episode. Lots of great jump scares, and the visual of the hive breaking in 2 is always great.
