Hope you're feeling better FW. I like this one; Daniel & Vala's dynamic, Sam & Baal, and Adria coming in at the end withe chilling coldness not only nearly killing her mother, but also slaughtering a whole village without a care. My only disappointment, and I've actually noticed it more in this rewatch with yourself, is how little Teal'c is given this season. Unless it's a story specifically about him he tends to be in the back not saying much if anything. CJ is great at the looks and one liners, and it does feed in to Teal'c's character, but it just seems more so this season. I think particularly with the addition of Cam, while they tried to build a relation up between the two, we definitely got to see and hear more from Teal'c pre-Cam.

Aye - not the best looking, but it was 20+ episode TV in 2006-2007 (which I kind of miss sometimes over the newer 10 episode or less seasons) so.. I don't fault them for poor Daryl looking a little.. wonky. Still kind of hilarious though. Especially when the C4 blew up in its stomach. 😂

The dragon wasn't even the worst part, it's the "P90 bullets" bouncing off in such a fake way. Also compared to the size of that dragon(wyvern technically) those "bullets" looked more like 30mm cannon shells. It would be forgivable, if not for the consistently high standard of VFX SG1 was known for. They really dropped the Ba'al on this one.

tbf.. there is a lot wrong with a show where the military soliders are comprised manly of officers and bring PDW's to defeat metal body armour. sure.. the p90 might be better than the mp5's, but still.. there is alot wrong with it. do i wish it would have been better

sure.. but i suppose there are limits to how meticulous alot of people can be bothered to be.. and moreso, i daresay, the budget and time will impart additional limitations uponthem.

Oh, this place called Gladiator Burger and Steak. I got this "True Emperor" burger that jalapenos, onions, sole kind of aioli, a couple chicken tenders, cheese, and probably something else I'm forgetting on it. So big you can't even et it normally. Very messy. Had onion rings and a chocolate milkshake with it.
