I'm always down for a good body swap story, and they had a decent amount of fun with the concept here despite the twisted nature of Marcus' character. I also love how the show is never afraid to take jabs at the main character. The way Marcus in Angel's body assumes Cordy is telling him he's gay and he looks down at what he's wearing and immediately says "of course I am". Also how offended he gets whenever he's referred to as a eunuch(I mean, to be real, who wouldn't be). Also slowly but surely Fred is working her way back into the world. Still super awkward, but whatever, she's adorable. And yeah, it's great whenever we get to see David's range as an actor, he does a good job as both Angel and Angelus, but there's only so much to cover in those roles.

Now you've watched Buffy you can probably tell that it doesn't really matter which one to watch first. I'm always on the watch Buffy first as that's the main show and generally any crossover episodes start with Buffy. I definitely preferred hearing the surprise call on Buffy and then watching Angel waiting for him to hear that she was alive. For the next episodes you can watch either first. As far as this one, I love episodes where DB gets to stretch his funny bones. He's always pretty funny and chaos always ensues. I also like how at the end when Angel hears B is alive he doesn't rush off straight away, he looks back at Fred to make sure she's OK. I thought that was a nice touch.

I usually cringe at body swap episodes cause the other person doesn't realize it, but they did well in making this one a little comical, and that helped. Though I really felt bad for Fred. See the issue here is that she is infatuated, not in love, with Angel, it's an infatuation brought on for the sole reason that he was her savior, he came in and like a white knight saved her from this hell. So she thinks she's in love, but it's not really love, just infatuation for what he did for her. So it is misplaced, and she just needed to learn that distinction.
