Ash Lee Can

I haven't even watched it yet and I just wanna ask, "You good?" lol...

indaeo

Oh boy. Oh boy. Oh boy.

Allan

Literally fast forwarded to the end. Reaction did not disappoint. Can't wait for the next one!

Magus

is it that bad? lol the title makes it sound like a teen drama filled episode. the soap opera aspect of the show makes it hard to watch for me at times

Anonymous

Man. Things in the series really start getting crazy after this point. I’m so excited to see you finish this season.

C S

Been waiting for this moment ever since you mentioned liking "Mrs Summers" in Season 1 </3 I think you've cared about her more than any other reactor I've watched.

Ashley

Yeah the reaction did not disappoint. It's sadistically I think what we are all waiting for. The entire episode is overshadowed by the final scene. I hope you are okay. As far as your happy question before you saw the end: I am one that likes Buffy, but not really Angel. SOMETIMES I watch reactors watch to SOME episodes of Angel. I have indeed seen the show twice through, but it's just not my thing. I wish it were, but I'm not into it.

Anonymous

Your limbo comment.. 👀😅 continue watching sir.

Bixgirl1

Yeah I think your wtf blitzing moment might be one of the most satisfying I've seen from a reactor lol. (She says, laughing so she won't cry. Haha.)

Bixgirl1

(I hope you're okay btw. ❤)

indaeo

I'm not sure I even took a breath during all that silence after the ep ended. I felt that. To answer your other question - I do eventually watch both shows, though I prefer Buffy to Angel. I watch your Buffy reactions immediately and then sometimes catch up and binge a few Angels later. *eagerly awaiting the next upload*

Ash Lee Can

I literally put my head in my hands saying, "Awww shit." lmfao...

Anonymous

God I can’t wait for episode 16.

allison lussier

We've all been waiting for this.

angelcakes

do we have to wait another week omg noooooo

Jo

I should stop refreshing the page every five minutes to see if the next one has been posted lol

Meta

No one is ready for the next one.

Anonymous

I watched buffy and angel as they aired new episodes and these next few really hit hard. I was 12 when this episode came out fuk ...also Angel is better at being goofy high concept fantasy and Buffy is better with character driven drama/comedy

Bisibia

He usually uploads 2 so I'm gonna keep going til it happens lmao

Christine

Thanks for the update ! Now I can stop refreshing and actually go to bed :-)

Raven Dark

Oh no. I forgot how much you like Joyce...

Raven Dark

Holy crap. Just finished watching the reaction, and I wanted to leave comments, but after that ending, I don't think can. *takes deep breath* Shit.

James Yancy

Yeah, that was definitely one of those sudden slap in the face moments.

Brent Justice

oh, this one, and the next, we are here folks, yikes

Bud Haven

I saw the episode you were on and knew I had to catch up like now.

Matthew Garrison-Perkins

I started with Buffy but ended up being an Angel, love them both, but I relate to the characters on Angel a bit more. And I watch them both.

Brent Justice

To answer your question at the beginning of the video, I watch your Buffy reactions and Angel reactions as they are released on Patreon. Of course I watch Both, they go hand in hand. I want to see your reaction to both. A little more history, I watched Buffy and Angel when they originally aired live on TV, so I naturally watched them at the time of release, in the order they were released. And so naturally, I want to see your reactions to them, in the proper order, together, since they were released together and as I said, go hand in hand, same universe, crossovers, etc.... If you like one, you should like the other and want to see a person react to both. Knowing what is to come, I want to see your reaction to it all.

I watch both the Buffy and Angel reactions. Love both shows pretty much equally

Timothy Nikiforovs

there's 2 Buffy/Angel slots a week, and apparently starting with this it's 4 Buffy eps in a row on the watch order, so the next ep should be up tomorrow hopefully, along with SG1

Timothy Nikiforovs

Yeah I watch both Buffy and Angel reactions. In some ways I prefer the tone and character arcs of Angel more. Angel feels like it took a bunch of Buffy reject characters and truly made them great. Angel himself obviously, but also Wesley, Cordelia, and even Faith really got a second life on that show. I caught Buffy on and off through most of the show in it's original run, or soon after in syndication. I think S7 was the only one I saw every episode on first airing(S7 is awesome). Angel I barely saw in it's original run and only watched through a couple years after it finished. Ok, so robot girl, Warren is a creep, yada yada yada, we all know what we're talking about in this episode. I actually had forgotten that buffy found Joyce on the couch at the end of this episode. I always get it mixed up and think it happened at the beginning of the next one. I don't want to get into spoiler territory, so I'm just going to point out something that really stood out to me about that scene, and it's the silence of it. Great job by the director. There's this almost static buzz that contrasts against Buffy's repeated "mom" that seems to get louder as the scene goes by before cutting out, that deafening silence you hear about. It's what really sells the scene as it illustrates how Buffy is going into shock from finding her mom unresponsive like that. If anyone has ever been in a similar situation it's almost like you can hear the blood flowing in your ears. It's just one of those weird ways the body reacts to shock/emotional distress and that ending really captured it.

Daniel Thunberg

The most suprising ending of an episode ever (In my opinion)

Ash Lee Can

Underrated Moment: Willow getting caught up with Tara checking her with just a look. I crack up every time I see it. We normally see Tara as this adorable, but meek young woman. Absolute sweetheart. So to see her show a silent but firm look of dominance, then Willow being immediately shook and trying climb out of the hole she dug herself in is absolutely hilarious. One of my favorite Willow/Tara moments and probably funniest moment of the episode for me...

Bud Haven

Two of the scene reactions that keep me watching Buffy reactions: The disblief while watching Giles talk to Willow after Jenny's murder. And when the axe comes down on the neck of the mostly light-hearted fluff of an epidode "I was Made to Love You". Us reactor fans are a sadistic bunch. lol

C J

That's the moment. 😬 Even people who are not fans of Joyce (not entirely sure how that happens) have their heart broken at that ending. Spike is definitely upping the creep factor in this episode. As much as we love him as a character, these are good reminders that he is still a demon with a behavioural chip in his head. I watch both but yeah, like you said, sometimes too much of Angel can be a bit depressing. BtVS has a better balance of funny/serious/action episodes. I'm not sure why people suggest a watch order, the way the aired on TV (at least in the UK) was one after the other, bar double episodes, so Buffy and then Angel. I always think that's the better way to watch it.

Timothy Nikiforovs

yeah watch orders can be weird. I don't know which he's following, but we were set up to have him follow one for stargate until I actually went through it and found there was a fair number of major spoilers between the shows as a result. The way the shows aired was pretty much perfect, with exceptions for 2 parters being alright in most cases.

Paul Komoroski

I also watch Angel. Are you okay?

Bisibia

My finger is cramping from refreshing the page lol

Flora Smith

Maybe he didn’t feel up to having to watch it again right away for editing? Either way he’ll let us know when he’s ready

Flora Smith

Not the YT edit, the full reaction has to be edited too

Brent Justice

Just the Intro and Outro though, he doesn't cut up the middle section, unless something odd happens, so editing the intro and outro shouldn't take long, you tack on your intro and outro stinger videos, and let it render, the rendering time probably takes the longest amount of work on the full reaction. It's the YouTube edit that takes a lot longer to edit, having to cut the reaction time down to just 10 minutes for YouTube.

Liam O'Donnell

i watched first few Angel eps of yours, but am bigger buffy fan in general, so decded to give Angel a wider breath, and do a binge of it when your about to finish S3 or something

Liam O'Donnell

Buffys like "hey, you didn't care for that ending that much? here, hold my ending lol. been waiting for your specific reaction to that ending since you started buffy

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔

Joanne Garcia

I love watching both the Buffy and Angel reactions - I love both shows and definitely think that should be watched in tandem. And so I really relish in when reactors stumble across some of the big episodes or story arcs in both series. It's like I get to relive those moments with them.
