I’ve been waiting for this episode and the next few to come! ☺️

LMAO, that reaction to the teaser. Been a while since we touched on the politics and goings ons on Earth, so a timely ep to see what's going on at home. I actually really like the pairings in this episode. Jonas and Teal'c make a pretty good team, and I think Sam and Barrett worked really well together as well. I think this is the most we've seen of the guy actually, and it's nice to see that not everyone in the NID is dirty(grease smudges notwithstanding😁). Also when you pointed out the 50 cal at the arms dealer, all I could think of was Barrett buying a Barrett. A lot of call backs in this one; Chain Reaction, 1969, Foothold..... They really tied a good number of dangling story threads together. There's also the implications of an ever growing number of people who know about the stargate program and even that alien tech is making it's way into products used by the general population.

Great episode, ties together lots of past plot lines. Has tons of fun scenes, like Teal'c staring that scientist into confessing and Jack grinding his teeth as he shakes Kinsey's hand. I thought it was interesting that Major Davis knows about Jack blackmailing Kinsey into not blackmailing Hammond. He's a good guy, but I wouldn't think he's close enough to the team for him to be told about it. After all, Jack is committing a felony here too. I also thought it was interesting Sam went to see agent Barret. I love continuity so it's great that they picked someone we've seen before, but that interaction was brief and certainly not enough to conclude he's not part of the rogue operations at the NID. I wish they'd included a scene where they check him out somehow, or someone like Davis vouching for him.
