The Firebending Masters might actually be my favorite overall episode. There's probably better episodes out there, but like you said, I love the chemistry between Aang and Zuko and the idea of Iroh getting his Dragon of the West title by protecting those dragons instead of slaying them. Sort of getting to see Zuko walk in his uncle's footsteps a little. And the Dragon Dance at the end is just beautiful from the cinematography to the animation to the inclusion of the outro for the score. It was fun watching along with you!

ROFL, Zuko's impression of Iroh was hilarious. And finally we see the switch we've all been waiting for. I also think it's cool that Toph of all people stood up for him. Personally I'm surprised they havent built the fire nation lore up more before this point given thats the focus of the last season. All in all a great couple of episodes, but I was really hoping Iroh would reappear by now.

These are some of my favourite episodes of the series. Zuko becoming Aang's firebending teacher has been a long time coming. Like you said, they have a cute big brother/little brother thing going on.

I know it's just rhetorical, but I gotta say, Iroh is the furthest thing from "Woke". Awake, yes; woke, no. Iroh is wise enough not to judge people by the groups they belong to, but rather by the content of their character.

Destiny is a funny thing, as uncle said. Zuko really did need to "find the Avatar" to restore his honour, just not in the way he thought.
