I'll third that, and second Fringe. Fringe, Firefly, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force... A couple of these new shows just have never been able to hold my attention, but you changed my mind with a few seasons of Community so I'll stick it out. Edit: Speaking of zombies, Santa Clarita Diet on Netflix is a fantastic not-your-typical zombie comedy you should also add to your list of potentials.

This is an episode I always think I don't like. Maybe it's because I'm generally not a fan of thriller/zombie-esque genres, maybe it's because Michael Shanks does crazy *so* well it makes me squirm, or maybe that the other two doctors here (not Janet) always give me inky vibes for some reason. I think there are just so many other "average" episodes that outrank this one for me...I like it better than the Reetu episode though! They actually do the thriller element very well with this one and it's a great example of why Stargate is the goat that it is - mad props for getting me to enjoy a feel I usually say "nah" to. Hey Faily! Episode 50 is coming up... you're almost a quarter of the way through SG-1 !

Really enjoyed this episode - I started watching SG1 when it originally aired, but for whatever reason, I think I stopped midway through season 2 (we didn't have on demand etc back then). I do love how consistent they are with the call backs etc.

Timothy Nikiforovs

This is kind of a strange one and not really one of my favorites, but Shanks really got a chance to show his talent as an actor. He's probably the best actor on the show, or at least the most versatile. And it was cool to see a Machello callback. It seemed like such a missed opportunity that we never saw them use his devices. Even the body swap device could be crazy useful. Imagine capturing a high ranking jaffa for one of the system lords and gaining some crazy valuable intel or tech, then doing a little musical chairs with a few people when they get back. Next ep is really good IMO. It has an interesting moral dilemma.
