I only just started this show the other week out of intrigue. For the established fans... Is there objectively a particular point when the show gets really very good? I am only early doors at only 4 episodes in, but atm I'm personally struggling to understand the hype.

I think its different for everyone, but it progressively changes as the seasons go, personally i really got into it around the half way mark of this season.

I've always been waiting for a moment where he double checks he's recording, suddenly thinks he's not, looses his mind out of frustration. But then actually realises he always was all along. I've long thought that would be really funny but very unlikely. 🤣

This is a new experience for me, watching something new at the same time as Faily. 🙂 That was an okay episode, especially considering it was the first one. Very much a BBC/Doctor Who vibe from it, not surprising considering it was one of the shows which shared its times timeslot. Think we'll probably see quite a few familiar actors along the way. 🙂

funny that Giles would be so opposed to magic, considering he's already throwing down a spell or 2 in Buffy. I remember seeing the odd episode of this show 8 or 10 years ago but never watched too much of it. Pretty solid start. Doesn't feel like a super modern show even for being a decade old, but the storytelling & characters seems decent.
