Very definitely a filler, I agree (And think most everyone else does, too), but enjoyable enough, at least. Loved the "who's going to rescue them now - Angel?!" Lolol. Great reaction; as always, very much looking forward to the next! 😊

Of all the Dr. Who references, you did not use the "Are you my mummy" one. That was the first thing that came to my mind. I do not know if I should be disappointed ... because as far as this episode goes, i do not have any strong feelings one way or the other towards it. So, moving on to the next one.

Towards the bottom of the list of Buffy episodes, for sure. I don't hate the episode as much as other fans probably; I find it funny and overall just meh. I am thoroughly excited to watch the rest of the season's reactions!

You were quite generous with this one my friend... "Off-beat" is fair. I'd personally go with "trash"... which still, I'd prefer to watch trash Buffy than most other things.

To answer your question, Giga Pets were the rival version of Tamagotchi in the late 90s. They were both out at about the same time.

Yeah, this is one of those weird filler episodes, but one thing you can gather from the episode is at least the level of Angel's and Buffy's relationship at this point.

My god, your face after Cordelia's "Is that your real hair?" microaggression against that Black girl was the perfect reaction. My soul almost left my body when she said that. I know Cordy can be terrible and offensive most of the time at this point but I really do not know what the writer was thinking with that one. Cordy could've said literally anything else, even something else rude and the scene would not have changed at all.

I honestly love that horrible comment, and his awesome reaction... it just shows how fuckin unaware and dense Cordy can be. It's obviously an awful thing to say, but we know it's coming from a person who constantly says awful things. We really should not like her. I think the writers were reminding us that just because she's been cooler lately, she's still got a TON to work on.

After decades of watching this show and watching others watch it as well, I have decided there were two main things to take away from the episode. One was done well, the other more meh but it works. However, I can't say either of them right now because spoilers. I'll try to remember to comment when I can about what I think this episode is supposed to bring to our attention.

hahaha I forgot about all the kissing in this episode. I think I read somewhere once that David Boreanaz and SMG would eat a lot of garlic and onions on days they knew they would have a lot of kissing scenes to see who could have the smelliest breath, almost like a game of chicken but with kissing lol
