Good reaction. I liked this episode. Lots going on. One thing in particular was showing how Sam struggles with being both compassionate and a subordinate in the military.

If you aren't aware, the show is filmed in Vancouver, and a lot of the actors/actresses are actually from Canada.

BTW, they mention it here, but the Stargate being made of Naquadah is a movie thing you might not have caught onto since you didn't see the movie, the element the Stargate is made out of is called Naquadah.

This is true, but the movie doesn't name it, it was just a nameless mineral. This episode is the first time it's referred to as "naquadah".
