2022. The year in which SAO canonically begins. AND JUST LOOK AT ALL THE FUCKIN' NERVEGEARS WE DON'T HAVE! PROMISES WERE MADE, REKI, YOU SON OF A BITCH! YOU GOT LIKE 362 DAYS TO COME THROUGH! YOU! REKI KAWAHARA! SUCCESSFUL WRITER AND NOT SCIENTIST! GET ON IT! I EXPECT A WORKING PROTOTYPE ON MY DESK BY MONDAY MORNING!

Now, you may be thinking, "January? But what about our December update?". Well, first of all, shut up. The year just started and we're in no mood for your fuckin' sass, Derek. GAWD! Second, we were BUSY! You see, since the episode was almost done, we didn't want to possibly run out of time to finish it because we were too busy writing an update about how the episode was almost finished. Just... seemed like some painful irony right there. So, the plan was to delay writing the update until the episode was done so we could be like "Ey yo! Episode premiere stream tomorry! What it do?!". But what happened was that there were so many technical difficulties that Izzy was working on it right up until the start of the stream. It was actually being re-rendered for about the 50th time WHILE WE WERE STREAMING that day. REALLY glad that finished before it was time to show it, lol.

ANYWAY! Long story short, we're doin' it now!

As you probably noticed, SAOA 16 is fully done and up on Patreon! It would also be up on YouTube, but you know... YouTube. So it's still gonna be locked up in Copyright Hell for a few more weeks. Thank you to all the beautiful peeps who showed up to see the premiere stream! It's always so heartwarming to see your reactions live. When you're staring at a project for so long, watching the same two-second chunks over and over again while you're editing, it can be really easy to convince yourself that it's garbage and that everyone will hate it and that everyone will finally figure out what a HACK you've been this ENTIRE TIME!!!

Ahem...

Anyway, it feels real nice when you like the stuff we make. Thanks for enjoying our garbage fire of a show. Preesh you.

Also, now that we're all back in the office, Izzy will start working on the episode 16 bloopies soon, so keep an eye out for those, as well as the In The Booths!

On the MHAA front, many things are being worked on by many different people. It's like Carrie's got her own little sweatshop goin' on. Adorable. Carrie's laying out footage for scenes (she's got 5.5/9 so far), Spencer is lip-flapping scenes, KaDoYu is doing some custom face edits, and Izzy is working on some... SPECIAL effects that he requested to do. There was no stopping him.

Other than that, our streaming schedule should be getting back to our normal rotation, doing games and SWE&D on alternating Fridays. This week it'll be SWE&D! WOOOOO PIRATES!!! Well, more genies and angels, but leave us alone. There could still be more pirates. Callous could come back! You don't know!
