For new patrons, I'm not talking about introducing an entirely new dragonmark into the setting; my longer articles are called Dragonmarks. In my poll for what to work on next week, Dragonmark had taken such a commanding lead I figured I'd call the poll and switch to determining what that article will be. There's a number of compelling topics, many of which I've meant to write about in the past. So, let's see what you choose!

As a point of clarification: An article about the Lhazaar Sea will focus on the sea—aquatic cultures and creatures, things that distinguish it from all of the other seas of Eberron—and not on the Principalities. Any of the Principalities could be the subject of a standalone article, as seen with the articles about Lorghalan and the Bloodsails. So just to be clear, a Lhazaar Sea article will be about the SEA.

If sky pirates are done, why not make it slightly threshold/frontier setting based since it'could serve as a cool opening to the setting

I actually like this idea as well---we know airships are rare in Eberron (and as a result, sky piracy). But maybe this could this be a thing for the new setting?

C.K.

I don't think that's what people wanted when they voted for a Dragonmark though

Yes, the answer is likely once more “Why not both?” My first thought with sky piracy is that the amount of air traffic presented in canon doesn’t support it—so the first step is presenting an expanded vision of air travel. Since that will be a new concept—building in canon but not present in it—it would be relatively easy to present a few core ideas from the basis of “In Eberron this would be X, while in Threshold it would be Y.” So have no fear, it will be an Eberron article. But the uniquely kanon elements could be adapted to Threshold.

In fairness, when I proposed the question originally, I was ready to accept an answer of "No, there's not really enough airships for sky piracy to be a major industry in Eberron. But y'know that's what PCs are for!"

So hard to choose
