Greetings, Patrons!

I'm mostly recovered from COVID and catching up on things; I hope to get the Sky Piracy article up next week and to get in Threshold Session 16 by the end of the month. This will be a stand alone that involves Three Widow Jane and any of the other characters—including Sheriff Constable and Sarvus'Kor. However, for the moment, Rolan is unavailable.

The first step is to pick a time for the next session. Because the last session was early Saturday, I'm taking that time off the table. You can pick any number of options, but don't vote for a game time unless you can actually play at that time. My goal is to find a time that provides an opportunity to as many players as possible, and if you vote for a time you can't actually play it just confuses things. People who played in June are ineligible to play in this session.

If you're a new patron and haven't caught up with things, check out the Kanka Site. This provides you with details on all of the characters, and there's short recaps of many of the sessions. You don't need to be fully caught up to play in a session! The important thing is to know who the characters are and what they're about; we can fill in the rest during the session.

Finally: Our last poll established that the kobold cleric Sarvus'Kor is an insightful priest who uses the Mind domain. She has had relatively contact with other priests of the Six, preferring to focus on her people and her meditations on the Fury. But despite being something of a hermit, she has made a fascinating discovering that's drawn her to Threshold. Traditionally, the DM and the player of a Hermit are supposed to work together to establish the nature of a Discovery. Which of these interests you?

  • Bound to the Haunt. Sarvus has a connection to the Haunt, the ruins on the edge of Threshold. There is a power in this place—possibly tied to the true spirit of Hezra Kuulas, the last commander of the Dhakaani fortress—and it favors Sarvus.
  • Visions of the Prophecy. Sarvus has a unique understanding of a piece of the Draconic Prophecy. She feels it in her blood and sees it in the pattern in her scales; she occasionally knows how one action may affect the future.
  • Manifest Points. Sarvus has discovered that there are a host of micro-manifest zones in this region, and can occasionally access the effects of a manifest zone in a region where none appears to exist.
  • The Hand of Orlassk. Sarvus is the keeper of a dangerous artifact, the Hand of Orlassk. She's determined to keep it away from the cultists of the Still Lord—but visions told her that she needed to bring the Hand to Threshold.
  • The Horned King. Sarvus has a strange bond to the malevolent force known as the Horned King. She opposes this overlord, but she has visions of his desires and the presence of his servants.

Thanks for your support!
