Threshold Challenge for October 28th (Patreon)

Greetings, Threshold supporters!

Life continues to be challenging. The Mockery article is in the works, but it may not be finished until the end of the week. I will be doing a live Q&A Session on the Threshold Discord channel from 5-6 PM on Monday, October 25th. Mostly, I'd like to catch everyone up on what's going on with Frontiers of Eberron and Threshold, but feel free to propose topics in the Comments; I'm looking for topics of broad interest as opposed to narrow IFAQ questions. 

The next Threshold session will be Thursday, October 28th from 6 PM-10 PM Pacific Time. For people new to Threshold, it's not streamed live, but it will be released in the week following. This session picks up a week after Bel and the others rescued their friends from the mountain. Honoria Soldorak is holding a grand ball to celebrate the local heroes, and you're invited! 

For folks who are new to this process, because of the rules of Discord, I can't choose players at random; there has to be some sort of actual contest. If you would like to play in this session, here's the rules:

• Send an email to threshold.eberron@gmail.com
• Include the name of the character you want to play in the subject line.
• In the body of the email, describe what that character is going to wear to the party, and any other special preparations they're making. 
• All characters are available. Feel free to list a second or third choice, preferably with a description of what that character is wearing. 
• Your answer must be submitted by 6 PM Pacific time on Tuesday, October 26th.

I'm excluding people who have played in the last three months; this means that people who played in July (or before) are eligible to submit again.

In the meantime, we need to resolve an important element of the story. We didn't see what happened to Rolan and the other adventurers in the mountain, but we discovered that the Magistrate was being influence by the Still Lord. It's possible that Sheriff Constable was also affected, in which case the Mountain Mission was a trap. How has the destruction of the Altar affected things? Are both warforged recovered? Is the Magistrate currently in jail, being closely watched by Sheriff Constable? Or are both warforged still compromised—in which case, who has temporarily taken on the role of Sheriff?  If either of the warforged are unable to perform their duties, Count ir'Blis will be sending a representative to town soon!
