Hi Everyone!

Well, it's the last day of December and of 2020. I had hoped to completely cover the topic of Arcane Science this month, but between holidays and domestic challenges I haven't had as much time as I'd hoped -- and more than that, it turns out that this is an ENORMOUS TOPIC. When I started this article I expected it to INCLUDE the history of arcane science in Khorvaire—but it's reached such a length that I wanted to close it out and give you something to read before the close of 2020. All of this material is important for the discussions that remain—Arcane History and Arcane Industry—so, now it's going to be four articles on the topic.

I am going to run a poll for a new topic in January, because those of you who DIDN'T vote for the arcane articles have a right to hear about something else, but I'm going to keep writing the arcane articles as well. This likely means that there won't be any IFAQs in January, but that's the price of arcane knowledge. I also will be running the first Threshold game in January.

Thanks to all of you for making it possible to spend as much time as I have on Eberron this year. These articles take a lot of time and creative energy, and I simply couldn't afford to do it without your support. I look forward to continuing to explore Eberron with you all in 2021!

Dragonmarks: The Arcane Arts

Magic is a part of Eberron. The world is drenched in eldritch power-the force that flows from the Ring of Siberys, the energies of the planes, enigmatic divine power sources. Like wind, tide, iron or fire-magic is a resource waiting to be harnessed. This is the second in a series of articles.

What are the odds the compiled Lightning Round will go up soon? You've answered so many questions on that post at the start of the month it would be nice to have an easier/public website reference

It's not going to happen today, and I'm planning to lock up my laptop and take a few days of actual vacation over the weekend. But I'll do it before I call for another round of questions in January.
