Our Tailor is a deep cover Khesh'dar mole who married into a family of city goblins. He's a Mastermind rogue, deadly alone but even more dangerous working with a team. He's clashed with the King's Dark Lanterns before, which may be one reason he's left Sharn. But at the end of the day, he truly loves his work as a tailor, and is determined to make Threshold the most fashionable town in Breland. The real surprise of the poll, though? Crinolines.

With that in mind, it's time to determine our final two player characters. While the name of the category is The Unexpected—and a few of them certainly will be—the main point of this category is that there is no one thing that unites these six characters. Some are filling gaps in the lineup (no paladin, bard, cleric, or ranger). Others bring interesting story hooks. Let's take a look.

The Agent is a scion of House Orien, here to serve the interests of their house. Their wits are as quick as their blade, and they're equally prepared to negotiate or eliminate obstacles to their family's ambitions. Choosing the Agent means the adventurers will, at least initially, be working with House Orien... Though it's always possible they will have a conflict of interest as things move forward!

The Fury is back from the Faith poll for a second round. As noted then, the Fury is the Cazhaak priest of the kobold community on the edge of Threshold. Wild and passionate, they act to protect their people and to avenge those who have been wronged. While their people are still outsiders in Threshold, they follow where the Fury leads them.

The Good Boy is a worg who was born into the Dark Pack of Droaam. Tragedy has driven this deadly hunter from their homeland, and they have forged a strong bond with one of the other player characters. This character is an actual worg, not a shifter or shapechanger. And they are, at the end of the day, a very good boy.

The Hero is a warforged templar of the Church of the Silver Flame, and they have come to the frontier to protect the innocent and battle the forces of darkness. While the Flame is already tied to the Silver Flame, they don't actually KNOW much about it; the Hero is an anointed templar of the Church, and they're here to help.

The Music is a warforged envoy built to entertain. They served with the Sheriff as a regimental musician, and now they're determined to use their skills to bring cheer to the people of Threshold. While eccentric, they're charismatic and surprisingly diplomatic.

The Mystery is an enigmatic Tairnadal warrior who never removes their mask. They are here for a purpose they won't yet reveal, but while this mystery unfolds they are willing to put their deadly blades to use defending the town; they never back down from a good fight. I'll note that while a follow-up poll for the Mystery will reveal more about them, this is definitely a character whose secrets will only fully unfold over time.

Because of US Thanksgiving, I'm going to take a little time off and let this poll run for 72 hours. I look forward to seeing who you choose!

Dammit I want a kobold but you had to add a Good Boy! Who in my mind will speak like Greyview from the OotS

Just to restate about the Mystery: the point of this character is that they will BE the Mysterious Stranger. With the Tailor, their follow-up poll determined a secret that the other characters won't know about them. The Mystery's follow-up poll will NOT reveal their deepest secret, because the fact that it IS secret is what defines the character. We don't KNOW why they won't take their mask off, and we're not going to find out, at least in the first dozen sessions; we just know that they WON'T take it off. There may be hints dropped, and directives to the player ("You really want to kill this bandit leader") ... but the point of the character is that they will REMAIN mysterious, even to the person playing them.
