Loved this, and never would've thought to do shalussakar-as-aasimar myself. Here's a small question: with the Hexblade Warlock being published for 5e next month, have you considered their possible role in Eberron, and do you have any other fun thoughts about living/intelligent weapons in the setting?

I haven't thought about the Hexblade, but I think that Xanathar is a good topic for the blog for December. As for intelligent weapons, I'll point out that one of the main characters in my Thorn novels is the dagger Steel...
